FLAIRS-25 continues a tradition of presenting and discussing state of the art artificial
intelligence and related research in a convivial atmosphere within a beautiful setting. Events will include invited speakers, special tracks, discussion panels, and presentations of papers, posters, and awards. FLAIRS features some of the world’s leading researchers but submissions from students are also highly encouraged, with FLAIRS boasting a strong tradition of student papers. Submission of papers and posters for presentation at the conference is now invited. A sunny paradise on the edge of the Gulf of Mexico, Marco Island features six miles of beach and over 100 miles of waterways within its 24 square miles. Marco Island is the largest barrier island within Southwest Florida’s Ten Thousand Islands and is surprisingly diverse, with topography that includes high sandhills, slash pine forests, sandy fields, as well as quartz sand beaches and mangrove swamps. It is also the only place in Southwest Florida to see the famous Florida burrowing owls. May temperature ranges from a low of 66º F (19º C) to a high of 88º F (31º C) with Gulf water temperature an average of 82º F (28º C). Important Dates November 21 2011 Paper submission deadline January 20, 2012 Paper acceptance notification February 20, 2012 Camera ready version due Submission Instructions Submitted papers must be original, and not submitted concurrently to a journal or another conference. Full papers may be up to 6 pages, and poster papers up to 2 pages. Papers must be in AAAI format, and submitted as PDF through the EasyChair conference system, which can be accessed through the main conference web site (www.FLAIRS-25.info). The proceedings of FLAIRS-25 will be published by the AAAI. Authors of accepted papers will be required to sign a form transferring copyright of their contribution to AAAI. An author of each accepted paper is required to register, attend, and present the paper at FLAIRS.
