Call For Papers

2013 IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Sensors, Sensor Networks and Information Processing (IEEE ISSNIP) will be held during 2-5 April 2013 in The Langham, Melbourne, Australia.

IEEE ISSNIP 2013 is the eighth in the series. The conference will focus on both theory and applications of intelligent sensors and smart systems. The conference will be held under three main tracks - Smart Sensors, Sensor Networks and Information processing in Sensor Networks. In addition to the usual technical sessions, there will be several tutorial and special sessions and workshops concentrating on specific areas of sensor research. The conference will be jointly organised by IEEE Sensors Council and ARC Research Network on Sensor Networks (www.issnip.unimelb.edu.au.) For more information, please visit www.issnip.org/2013 which will be updated frequently as the sessions become finalised.

IEEE ISSNIP 2013 invites original contributions on all topics related to sensors and sensor networks. All accepted papers will be made available on IEEE Xplore. The conference program will consist of keynote addresses, invited talks, oral and poster presentations, workshops, tutorials and commercial exhibitions. Topics include but are not limited to:

• Mechanical, Physical and Optical Sensors including Materials and Processes
• RFID and MEMS technologies
• Network Scheduling and Optimization
• Sensor Fusion, Tracking and Localization
• Protocols in Sensor Networks
• Distributed Information Processing
• Data Aggregation, Storage & Management
• Event detection, Fault Tolerance and Identification
• Security and privacy
• Middleware for Sensor Systems
• Networked Sensing and Control
• Participatory sensing and Crowd sourcing
• Smart (Power) Grids
• Internet of Things(IoT)
• Data mining, Pattern Recognition and Machine intelligence
• Cloud computing solutions for ubiquitous sensing
• Spatio-Temporal Analysis
• Applications of Sensor Networks in Healthcare, Security, Infrastructure, Defence, Environment, etc.

The submitted paper must be camera-ready and in IEEE format (templates is available on conference web), not exceeding 6 pages. Papers must be based on unpublished original work and must be submitted to IEEE ISSNIP only. Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and present the paper. PDF version of the articles must be submitted electronically through EDAS Paper Submission System (http://edas.info/13215).
