#### ICIRA 2011 - Aachen, Germany - 2011, December 6-9 ####
The 2011 International Conference on Intelligent Robotics and Applications (ICIRA 2011) will be held in Aachen, Germany, on December 06-09, 2011. The conference theme is “Improving Robot Behavior”. Robots already have become a part of our life – whether in supporting ourselves in everyday life or for example in increasing the productivity and quality of assembly tasks. This development will even intensify in the future. The ICIRA 2011 forges a link between different disciplines developing and/or using robotics and its applications, on the one hand. On the other hand, the ICIRA 2011 forms a connection between different perspectives on the field of robotics – from the fundamental research to the usage of robotics. Therefore, the ICIRA 2011 provides a platform to discuss „Improving Robot Behavior“. The conference program will contain paper presentations, poster presentations, special sessions and an exhibition. The community is looking forward to discussing a variety of topics on robotic research and their applications under different scientific perspectives with you at the ICIRA 2011 in Aachen. #### Call for Papers #### All accepted papers will be published within Springer’s Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (LNAI). An online paper management tool for the submission of your paper based on LaTex or MS Word templates will be provided.
