Call for Papers: Workshop on Emerging Topics in Web Advertising at WWW 2026
Dear Colleagues, We are pleased to announce the Workshop on Emerging Topics in Web Advertising, to be held in conjunction with the WWW Conference 2026 in Dubai, UAE. This workshop aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and experts to explore the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities in web advertising, with a focus on emerging technologies such as immersive advertising, privacy-preserving techniques, and AI-driven personalisation. We invite you to submit your research papers on topics including, but not limited to: • Privacy-preserving advertising and data protection • Immersive advertising using AR/VR/MR technologies • AI and machine learning in web advertising • Ethical considerations and regulatory challenges • Ad fraud detection and cybersecurity in advertising • User experience (UX) design for web advertising The workshop will feature a dual-track format, combining a Research Track with interactive Brainstorming Sessions, providing a platform for scholarly exchange and collaborative problem-solving. Accepted papers will be included in the workshop proceedings, and a report on trending ideas and collaborations will be published post-event.
