Call For Papers

NASLIBS 2011 is organized by the ICET (Institute for Clean Energy Technology), Mississippi State University in collaboration with the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and the International Forensic Research Institute (IFRI) at Florida International University in Miami, FL.

Particular emphasis of NALIBS 2011 will be placed on "Transition from Research to Application".

We would like to invite you to participate in making NASLIBS 2011 as successful as NASLIBS 2009 and NASLIBS 2007. We are looking forward to receiving your contributions.

The main topics of the conference are new developments in LIBS, from fundamentals to applications, including advances in instrumentation. Substantial focus will be placed on research and application of LIBS for environmental, life science, geochemistry, forensic and security applications.

Theme of the conference: Transition from Research to Application

1. LIBS Fundamental studies

2. Data processing for quantitative analysis and material identification

3. Instrumentation

4. Sensor applications (environmental, cultural heritage, life sciences, geochemistry and spatial applications, forensic, security, field portable LIBS)

5. LIBS for industrial applications (process control, on line analysis, material analysis, remote systems)

6. Short courses (basics of LIBS physics, Data processing for quantitative analysis and material identification, instrumentation and applications)
