Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) are highly parallelized processors. Today, GPUs is now a much richer environment and has been applied to research domains including: image processing, molecular dynamics, astrophysics, financial simulation, computer tomography, quantum chemistry, bioinformatics and many others. In many of these applications, a speedup of 20-100X has been realized.
The goal of this workshop is to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to discuss and share their research and development experiences and outputs on the massively parallel GPU platforms, multi-core system, optimization techniques, parallel algorithm design, applications, bioinformatics and all kinds of successful applications. EMCA seeks original contributions in all relevant areas, including but not limited to the following topics: -Performance Modeling and Benchmarking -Middleware and Libraries -Self-configuration and Fault-tolerance -Multi-core computing and applications -Parallel algorithm on GPU -GPU Clusters -Bioinformatics on GPU -Applications on GPU Computing We invite you to submit papers with unpublished, original research describing recent advances on the areas related to this workshop. All papers will undergo peer review by the conference program committee. All papers accepted will be included in the Workshop Proceedings published by the IEEE Computer Society Press and will be available at the workshops. Authors of selected papers will be invited to extend their papers for submission to special issues in prestigious Journals. |
