The mission of the 10th International Symposium on Parallel and Distributed Computing is to bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners involved in the development of new algorithms and architectures for parallel and distributed computing. The goal is to provide an interactive and friendly yet professional forum for original research contributions describing novel ideas, groundbreaking results and/or quantified system experiences. We cordially invite you to submit your contribution to the 10th International Symposium on Parallel and Distributed Computing (ISPDC 2011). We welcome proposals for full or half-day sessions/workshops within the scope of the conference. Interest tracks include, but are not limited to, the following topics:
Parallel Computing: New Concepts Parallel Computing and Algorithms GPU Programming Parallel Programming Paradigms and APIs Bio-inspired Parallel Algorithms Parallel Scientific Computing and Large Scale Simulations System Architectures for Parallel Computing Cluster Computing Grid and Cloud Computing Multicore Architectures Distributed Computing Collaborative Computing Peer-to-peer Computing Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing Web Services and Internet Computing Distributed Systems Distributed Systems Methodology and Networking Software Agents and Multi-agent Systems Distributed Software Components Parallel, Distributed and Mobile Databases Development of Basic Support Components Operating Systems for Parallel and Distributed Systems Middleware Algorithms, Models and Formal Verification Tools and Environments for Parallel Program Analysis Security in Parallel and Distributed Systems Quality Assurance in Parallel and Distributed Systems Task Scheduling and Load Balancing Fault Tolerance in Parallel and Distributed Systems Performance Management in Parallel and Distributed Systems Network Convergence Applications Real-time Distributed and Parallel Systems Parallel and Distributed Applications Urban Networks and Applications Vehicular Networks You are invited to submit original papers of up to 8 pages, written in English and compliant with the IEEE standard (8.5"x11", two-column). The proceedings will be published by the IEEE Computer Society Press. A set of the best papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of the International Journal of Parallel Programming published by Springer Verlag. A best paper award will be presented to a paper receiving the highest quality rating from the Program Committee and external reviewers. |
