Call For Papers

SenSPA 2014
Special Track on Sensor, Peer-to-peer and SociAl Networks Security
In conjunction with The 2014 International Conference on Security and Management, SAM14
July 21 – 24, 2014, Las Vegas, USA

Smart, wireless, networked sensors will soon be all around us, collectively processing vast amounts of previously unrecorded data to help run factories, optimize farming, monitor the weather and even watch for earthquakes. The advances made in the area of sensor networks will naturally have a profound impact on our understanding and operation of traditional Peer-to-peer (P2P) systems which are widely used in today's Internet and account for a significant portion of its traffic. The confluence of ideas driving sensor and P2P systems is expected to be intensified by social networks. All submissions enabling cross-pollination of ideas on P2P, Sensor and Social Networks related to architecture, design, implementation, security, simulation, analysis and measurement are welcome. We highly encourage novel and previously unpublished work, even reporting work in early stages. Topics of interest, but not limited to, are:

- Social network analysis for P2P, Sensor and distributed computing systems
- Social networks and socially-informed Sensor/P2P infrastructures
- Socially Aware Sensor/P2P Overlay architectures and topologies
- Evolution of P2P and social communities and systems
- Reputation, security, incentives, and economics in P2P/Social systems
- Large scale content distribution
- Mobile P2P and social networking systems
- P2P overlays, file sharing, and streaming systems
- User behavior analysis and modeling in Social Networks
- Security and privacy in Social/Sensor/P2P Networks
- Decentralized Social Networks Applications
- Social graph analysis
- Location-based services in social networks
- Security, privacy, anonymity, and anti-censorship
- Policy enforcement, participation incentives, trust, and reputation
- Cooperation, incentives, and fairness
- P2P, sensor and social network economics

Papers accepted for SenSPA 2014 will be, after being presented, included in the proceedings to be submitted for publication in SAM'14 conference proceedings.
