AIM AND SCOPE

Forensic science is a growing field which is capturing the attention of researchers.
The objective of this Special Session is to bring together researchers and police forces in
order to answer new forensic challenges with the state of the art image and video
processing research.

Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

● forensic pattern recognition;
● pattern recognition in forensic image databases;
● digital image and video processing for forensics;
● forensic video processing for investigation of surveillance video
● crime scene photogrammetry and reconstruction;
● data representation and data fusion applied to forensic science;
● forensic image and video processing software comparison.
