Call For Papers

Recent years have seen astounding advances in applications of molecular techniques to the study of the brain with important implications for all aspects of neuroscience. The aim of this unique symposium is to scan the horizon of the latest advances in the understanding of the brain from its basic molecular functions to its disorders. It represents the most forward-looking representation of what researchers have generated in the most recent years to unlock the mysteries of the brain and its disorders.

In addition to basic research, many human diseases will be discussed throughout this symposium including autism and autism spectrum disorders such as fragile X disease and Rett syndrome, schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, addiction, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, ALS and brain cancers. All these disorders represent areas of great unmet medical need.

This symposium will give all participants a new, fascinating vision of our present knowledge and of what we can expect to happen soon in the arguably most challenging aspect of biomedical research, that of the human brain and its disorders.
