Call for papers! The Network Science Center at West Point is pleased to announce the 6th Annual Network Science Workshop which will be held from April 22-24, 2012. The focus of the workshop is to explore interdisciplinary approaches to Network Science that impact and enhance military applications. We would especially like to explore the following topics: Networks in Command and Control, The Networked Patrol Leader (ex: Warrior Web, TIGR), Networks and Social Media, Organizational Analysis, and the Progress of Network Science.

If you are interested in submitting a paper for consideration, please send it to tish.torgerson@usma.edu no later than March 1, 2012. Papers should be at least 5 pages long and in IEEE format and they will be evaluated by the Program Committee. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by March 16, 2012.

Members of the press may attend the event and submission therefore indicates no objection to their presence during presentations.

Please note: if you have a paper that was accepted for the October 2011 workshop you do NOT need to submit again. This is the new date for the postponed workshop.

The workshop will take place at The Thayer Hotel, West Point, New York. Please contact the Thayer Hotel at (845) 446-4731 to make your reservations, make sure to let them know you will be attending the Network Science Workshop. Unfortunately, there is only capacity to accommodate the first 80 registrants at the workshop.

There is a workshop registration fee of $200 which will be used to cover meals and other conference supplies. You can register for the workshop now through 1 April 2012 at http://conta.cc/zTGn7x If you have questions or need assistance please
