The 2nd IEEE International Conference on Networked Embedded Systems for Enterprise Applications (NESEA 2011) will be held in Perth, Australia in December, 2011. The conference is co-sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society (TBC). Fundamental research from the various specializations of networked embedded systems has been applied to tackle a wide range of significant problems. However, current approaches often lack consideration of how networked embedded systems should be integrated with enterprise architectures. NESEA aims to gather the best in current expertise in this field, to drive research into the integration of embedded systems and enterprise architectures and promote the use of networked embedded systems to address critical problems facing industry such as energy monitoring and conservation. Target specializations of networked embedded systems include: Wireless Sensor Networks, Cyber-Physical Systems, Ubiquitous Computing, Pervasive Computing and Mobile Computing.
Topics of Interest include: Networked Embedded Systems: Wireless Sensor Networks Ubiquitous and Pervasive Computing Mobile embedded devices Networking Support: Cost and Quality of Service aware routing protocols Adaptable and reconfigurable networking support. Service and device discovery Programming Abstractions: Component and binding models for embedded systems Service-Oriented architectures for embedded systems Policy-based management of embedded systems Macro-programming languages Middleware: Middleware for networked embedded systems Integration of embedded systems with SOA. Integration of embedded systems with business logic Development Support: Testing, modeling and simulation tools Deployment support for networked embedded systems Deployment planning and support Business Applications of Embedded Systems: Energy monitoring and conservation Logistics and supply chain monitoring Smart electrical power grids Medical sensor networks Important Dates: (TBC) Full Paper Submission Deadline: 15/09/2010 Notification of Paper Acceptance: 15/10/2010 Camera-Ready Submission: 22/10/2010 Registration Deadline: 29/10/2010 Conference Dates: 8-9 December 2011, |
