The International Conference on Open and Distance eLearning (ICODeL) is a biennial international conference series on open and distance e-learning (ODeL). The firts conference was held in 2012 in Manila to provide a forum for distance education and e-learning scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to share and reflect on experiences, and collaboratively create and explore spaces and possibilities for ODeL for development.
ICODeL 2023 conference will be held in a hybrid format, maximizing the affordances of different modes of delivery. Plenary and paper presentations will be delivered online, while unconference sessions will be conducted face-to-face at the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) Headquarters in Los Banos, Laguna, Philippines. Unconference sessions will include workshops, collaborative activities, festivals, hackathons, and other alternative ways of sharing and co-creating knowledge. Unconference sessions will have limited slots. ICODeL 2023 will be held jointly with two other events, the ASEANnale 2023 culture and multimedia festival and the 1st International Symposium on Education and AI Convergence (ISEAC 2023). =================================== = SUBMISSION GUIDELINES =================================== All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. We are accepting abstracts (max 2000 characters) for paper presentations relevant to the conference theme and one of the sub-themes. Papers should be research-based. Only accepted abstracts can be submitted for full paper review. Submit abstracts through the Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit (CMT).
