CALL FOR PAPERS
DICTA 2024, Perth, WA The International Conference on Digital Image Computing: Techniques and Applications (DICTA) is the premier conference organised in Australia on computer vision, image processing, pattern recognition, and related areas. DICTA was established in 1991 as a flagship conference of the Australian Pattern Recognition Society (APRS) and has been historically co-sponsored technically by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR). The 25th DICTA 2024 conference will feature various prizes (e.g., best paper prizes), keynote talks, industry demo and panel discussion, journal to conference track, challenges, special sessions, workshops and tutorials. Authors are invited to submit papers of up to eight pages according to the guidelines on the conference website. Topics include, but are not limited to: Digital Image Computing: [Techniques] • Image/video Acquisition, Coding, Processing • Computer Vision and Deep Learning • Image Coding, Processing, and Enhancement • 3D Vision, LiDAR, Shape and Texture Analysis • Content-based Image Retrieval • Image Analysis and Understanding • Semantic Segmentation • Quantum Image Processing [Applications] • Biomedical and e-health Applications • Surveillance, Defence, and Industrial Applications • Earth Observation and Remote Sensing • Medical Image Analysis • Human-computer Interaction • Vision for Robotics and Autonomous Systems • Industrial Machine Vision • Generative and Diffusion Imaging Deadlines Paper Submission: 1 July 2024 Notice of Acceptance: 12 August 2024 Camera-ready Submission: 9 Sept 2024 Early Bird Registration: 30 Sept 2024 All papers presented at DICTA 2024 the conference will be included in the IEEE Xplore database and top-quality papers will be invited to submit to a special issue of a Scopus indexed journal. Each submitted paper will go through double-blind peer review. Each accepted paper must be registered by an author before the early registration deadline to avoid withdrawal from the conference proceedings and technical program.
