The increasing economic growth and consequences have forced the theoretical and practical economists since the industrial revolution to address issues that were not important for previous generations but have a vital importance for the next ones. One of them is sustainability, which has been put into foreground in almost every field of economy. According to the most frequently quoted definition sustainability ensures the satisfaction of the present demands without risking the next generations’ needs. The two stakeholders of sustainability appearing in this approach are the company and the consumer. Sustainability means the quality of life for the consumers and the competitive production for the companies. On the basis of this concept Kaposvár University, Faculty of Economics organizes the 3rd International Economics Conference.
The aim of the conference is to bring together academic scientists, leading engineers, industry researchers and students to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of Sustainable Economic Development and Potential Community Strategies.
