CALL FOR PAPERS

5th IEEE Conference on Communications and Network Security (IEEE CNS 2017)
Las Vegas, Nevada, USA -- October 9-11, 2017
http://cns2017.ieee-cns.org/

IEEE Conference on Communications and Network Security (CNS) is a premier forum for
cyber security researchers, practitioners, policy makers, and users to exchange
ideas, techniques and tools, raise awareness, and share experience related to all
practical and theoretical aspects of communications and network security.

The 5th IEEE CNS will be held in the city of Las Vegas, Nevada from October 9, 2017
to October 11, 2017. Las Vegas, which in Spanish means ''The Meadows,'' is the leading
financial, commercial, and cultural center for Southern Nevada. The city is one of
the top three leading destinations in the U.S. for conventions, business and meetings.
It is also internationally renowned for its entertainment industry - gambling,
shopping, fine dining and nightlife. Las Vegas is well serviced by major domestic
and international airlines, with direct flights from major U.S. Cities as well as
major cities in Europe and worldwide.

The conference seeks submissions from academia, government, and industry presenting
novel research results in all practical and theoretical aspects of communications
and network security. Particular topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

- Anonymity and privacy technologies
- Attacks and defenses
- Computer and network forensics
- Cyber deterrence strategies
- Game-theoretic security technologies
- High-availability communication systems
- Implementation and evaluation of networked security systems
- Information-theoretic security

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
Manuscript submissions should be in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) only.
The page limit is 9 pages. Font size should be no smaller than 10 points. When
you upload your PDF, EDAS should report the margins are no less than
0.625x0.625x1x0.75 with a text region no more than 7.25 inches x 9.25 inches on
a standard US Letter document (8.5 inches x 11 inches). The minimum line spacing
should be 10pt. More detailed rules on margins can be found in the conference
website, and these rules will be automatically enforced by EDAS.

PLEASE NOTE: Accepted and presented technical papers will be published in the
IEEE CNS 2017 Conference Proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other
Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. See the website for concrete instructions
and submissions rules and regulations and for author requirements of accepted authors.
