The 2nd Australian Counter Terrorism Conference will be held from 5 – 7 December, 2011 in Perth, Western Australia. Terrorism and Counter terrorism studies is a varied and interdisciplinary field incorporating psychology, social and behavioural studies, defence studies, security studies, intelligence, political science, international relation and law enforcement. The aim of the 2nd Australian Counter Terrorism Conference is to bring together academics, practitioners, policy makers and experts from these various disciplines in a forum to exchange ideas and stimulate discussion.
The focus theme this year is 'The Changing Face of Counter Terrorism'. Papers are invited from academic researchers, law enforcement and intelligence experts, consultants, policy makers and practitioners in the field and related disciplines.
