To increase the likelihood of business success and sustainability, companies must fundamentally reposition themselves and try to change current processes or to create new products and services. With a virtue of business innovation, companies can make more efficient business processes and sustain their business competitiveness. Being transformative or innovative does not always mean inventing or creating something new out of nothing. Sometimes by a shift in thinking to find solutions from existing ones or to combine two or more academic disciplines, fields of study, professions or technologies, we can find a way of changing our business processes or products to have more competitive edge. For example, Nike made Nike+ based on the lessons learned from traditional popular games. Some game elements such as a progressive bar, point system and badges were applied to Nike+. Nike found a new way to innovate its products not from the shoes industry but from the game industry. This special issue aims to provide the interdisciplinary solutions which solve the problems that the business managements easily face when they try to transform or to innovate their processes, products and services by providing practical and interdisciplinary research results that can be used as a catalyst for the sustain growth in the marketplace. Topics of the special issue focus on the interdisciplinary approaches for sustainable innovation of the following areas. •human resource management •education and training •operation management •marketing campaign •production planning •R&D management •logistics •business knowledge management •new business model •enterprise information systems •legal and ethical issues )) Submission Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website.
