*** Call for Papers ***
CAiSE 2027 : 39th International Conference on Advanced Information Systems Engineering June 7-11, 2027, Seville, Spain (*** Submission Deadlines: Abstract: November 4, 2026 AoE; Paper: November 15, 2026 AoE ***) We are pleased to announce that the call for full papers for the 39th International Conference on Advanced Information Systems Engineering (CAiSE’27) is now open. CAiSE conference provides a forum for the exchange of experience, research results, ideas and prototypes between the research community and industry, in the field of information systems engineering. Since its start 1989 in Stockholm, CAiSE has been held in many other European countries and even outside Europe. It annually attracts close to 300 paper submissions from more than 30 countries. CAiSE Proceedings are published in LNCS Series by Springer. This edition is taking place in Seville (Spain) from June 7 to June 11, 2027. The CAiSE’27 Committee calls for full papers with a special emphasis on the theme of Hybrid Intelligent Information Systems Engineering. Hybrid Intelligent Information Systems Engineering is considered a multidisciplinary field that combines data-driven (e.g., machine learning, deep learning) and knowledge-driven (e.g., symbolic reasoning, ontologies, rules) approaches to support intelligent, adaptive, and explainable decision-making in complex cyber-physical environments. It is concerned with the design, development, integration, and management of information systems that ensure data and information management, interoperability, scalability, and alignment with organisational and domain-specific requirements. The call for full papers is divided in three categories: **Technical Papers: they describe original insights in IS engineering. A technical paper should clearly describe the situation or type of problem tackled, the relevant state of the art, the position or solution suggested and its potential, as well as demonstrate the benefits of the contribution through a rigorous evaluation. **Empirical Papers: they evaluate existing problem situations including problems encountered in practice or validate proposed solutions with scientific means such as empirical studies, experiments, case studies, experience reports, simulations. **Exploratory Papers: they describe completely new research positions or approaches, to face a generic situation arising because of new technologies, new kinds of activities, or new IS challenges Detailed paper submission guidelines can be checked here: https://caise2027seville.org/calls/papers/ **Important dates** Abstract Submission Deadline (Mandatory, Firm): November 4, 2026 AoE Paper Submission Deadline (Firm): November 15, 2026 AoE We look forward to receiving your submissions, and to welcoming you to Seville. |
