The 19th International Symposium on the Applications of Ferroelectrics (ISAF) and the 10th European Conference on the Applications of Polar Dielectrics (ECAPD) will come together in 2010 in the beautiful and historic city of Edinburgh.

Over a period of 4 days more than 500 scientists and engineers from around the world will present and discuss the latest developments in the field of ferroelectrics, related materials and their applications.

Located at the Edinburgh Conference Centre on the woodland campus of Heriot-Watt University, delegates can enjoy peaceful rural surroundings between the conference sessions, but with the many visitor attractions of Edinburgh only a few minutes away.

The meeting is timed to take advantage of the Edinburgh International Festival, the largest arts festival in the world, which will run from 13th August to 5th September in 2010. The accommodation package will include options to prolong your stay to take advantage of the feast of art, music, theatre and comedy on offer within the city.

Abstract submission is not yet open.

The deadline for abstract submission will be February 15th 2010.
