The Australasian Data Mining Conference: AusDM 2009
Melbourne, 1-4 December 2009 Co-Hosted with the Australian Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence. The Australasian Data Mining Conference is devoted to the art and science of intelligent data mining: the meaningful analysis of (usually large) data sets to discover relationships and present the data in novel ways that are compact, comprehendible and useful for researchers and practitioners. This conference will bring together from the Data Mining and Business Analytics community researchers and practitioners to share and learn of research and progress in the local context and new breakthroughs in data mining algorithms and their applications. The conference proceedings will be published under the Conferences in Research and Practice in Information Technology series for distribution at the conference. Keynote speakers: As is tradition for AusDM we have lined up an excellent keynote speaker program. Each speaker is a well known research and/or practitioner in data mining and related disciplines. The keynote program provides an opportunity to hear from some of the worlds leaders on what the technology offers and where it is heading. * Prof Kate Smith-Miles, Monash University, Australia * Assoc Prof Jian Pei, Simon Fraser University, Canada * Dr Ross Gayler, Veda Advantage, Australia (industry keynote) Important Dates Submission of full papers: Friday 31 July 2009 Notification of Authors: Friday 11 September 2009 Final version and author registration: Friday 25 September 2008 Conference: 1-4 December 2009 |
