First Call for Submissions
Call for Papers, Posters, Tutorials, Workshops and Exhibits Topics related to the use of Virtual Reality in the following areas are solicited: * Motor Rehabilitation * Brain Computer Interfaces * Rehabilitation Robotics * Haptic interfaces * Psychological and Environmental Rehabilitation * Vestibular and Balance Rehabilitation * Cognitive Rehabilitation * Telerehabilitation * Sociological, demographic and legal aspects of Virtual Rehabilitation * Regulatory, education and formative efforts to promote Virtual Rehabilitation * Novel applications of game consoles Paper Submission Guidelines * Papers should describe original and unpublished work. * Authors should submit manuscripts electronically as a DOC file on the conference web site: www.virtual-rehab.org * CD Proceedings will be distributed at the conference - subsequently published papers will become part of the IEEE Online Library, carrying the IEEE © notice. * Papers should not exceed 8 pages, double column, formatted according to IEEE template provided on our website. The 8 page limit includes images, figures, tables and references. All papers must include the title, an abstract, keywords, author’s names, affiliations, postal addresses, e-mail addresses and the contact author for the paper. * Paper submission deadline February 15, 2009 * Notification of the review decision: April 1, 2009 * Final camera-ready paper in IEEE format due: May 1, 2009 * Best Paper Award sponsored by Hocoma AG * Best Student Paper Award sponsor by GestureTek Inc. * Technical Sponsorship from IEEE EMBS * Special Issue in a journal is being arranged. Poster Submission Guidelines * Posters may describe work in progress or late-breaking results. * Submission this year will be via an online web site: www.virtual-rehab.org.
