About the conference:

The 14th COMAD will be held in December 2008, in Mumbai, India. Similar to
previous years, COMAD 2008's scope will include not only traditional database
areas but also adds emphasis on Web, Information Retrieval and Data Mining.
We invite the submission of original research contributions as well as
proposals for demonstrations, tutorials, industrial presentations, and panels.

To ensure wide visibility of material published at the conference, we plan
to make arrangements with ACM SIGMOD for including the proceedings of the
conference in the SIGMOD on-line and CD-ROM archives.
Two awards, for Best Paper and Best Student Paper, will be presented at the
conference.
