Goals: The International Conference on Emerging Databases is an annual forum for exploring technologies, novel applications, and research of emerging database fields. Using this forum, researchers and practitioners can exchange current issues, challenges, new technologies, and practical experiences. The fourth International Conference on Emerging Databases - Technologies, Applications, and Theory (EDB2012) will be held at theStanford Hotel, Seoul, Korea. The EDB2012 is organized by the KIISE (Korean Institute of Information Scientists and Engineers) Database Society of Korea. Authors are invited to submit original and research papers addressing technical issues, solutions, and technologies in emerging database fields. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by the members of the international program committee. The topics of interest for EDB2012 include (but are not limited to):
