Call For Papers

Over the last three decades Peer-to-Peer (P2P) networking technology has been applied successfully for various Internet interworking applications and now upon an easy-to-use infrastructure enabling self-organised networking environments for new people-to-people interaction and collaboration services it stands to promote more intelligent and dynamic uses of the Internet for all aspects of our daily activities. On the other hand with well over half a billion Internet users all over the world the new concept of online social networking (OSN) is becoming an attractive innovative application area for research communities where a new horizon of online social networking using the P2P infrastructure is emerging to share the social information. This special issue aims at soliciting the latest research results and discusses open problems as well as emerging trends in P2P and
OSN, thereby promoting the development and evolution of these two challenging research areas. All new submissions on the architecture, design, implementation, simulation, analysis and measurement of P2P/OSN are welcomed.

Topics include but are not limited to:
* Social Network Analysis of P2P Systems
* Evolution of P2P Community
* P2P Reputation, Security, Incentive, Economics
* Large Scale Deployment of P2P Systems
* P2P Architecture supporting Large-scale OSN
* Self-organising & self-managing distributed systems
* P2P Overlay
* P2P Social Networking
* User Behavioural in OSN
* Privacy and Security in OSN
* Evolution of User Community in OSN
* Mobile Social Networking
* System Design for OSN
* Decentralised OSN Applications
* Social Graph Analysis
