The conference provides a premier forum for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss the latest advances in environmentally sustainable computing and communication solutions. IEEE GreenCom 2026 is co-located with four other IEEE conferences (Blockchain, CPSCom, SmartData, iThings) as part of the 2026 IEEE Cybermatics Congress. *********************** TOPICS OF INTEREST ****************** Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Track 1: Green Computing and Communication Technologies - Green infrastructure sustainable design and technologies - Energy- and power-constrained devices and gateways - Ultra-low power systems architectures - Energy-efficient M2M communications and networking - Green big data, cloud, and data center architecture - Green technologies for 5G (SDN, IoT, crowdsourcing) - Energy harvesting communications and networks Track 2: Smart Energy and Smart Grid - Smart metering infrastructure and technologies - Large-scale monitoring, control and demand response - Advanced data fusion, mining and modeling in smart grid - Management of distributed energy generation, storage and consumption - Grid-to-vehicle, vehicle-to-grid, Micro-grid Track 3: Green Society Applications - Smart sensing systems, Smart city - Green vehicle, green home, green buildings - Intelligent Transport Systems - Energy efficiency in aerial/UAV communication networks - Applications of blockchain in energy management and trading ************************ IMPORTANT DATES ******************* Paper submission deadline: June 15, 2026 Notification of acceptance: September 1, 2026 Registration due: October 1, 2026 Conference dates: November 30 - December 4, 2026 *********************** SUBMISSION GUIDELINES *************** All papers must be submitted electronically through EDAS in PDF format. Submissions must follow the IEEE Computer Society Proceedings manuscript style. - Regular full paper: up to 8 pages (or 10 pages with over-length charge) - Short paper: up to 6 pages (or 8 pages with over-length charge) Page limits include all content, figures, tables, and references. Papers must be original, unpublished, and not currently under review elsewhere. *********************** PUBLICATION *************** Accepted papers will be published by IEEE Computer Society Press. At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register and present their work at the conference; otherwise, the paper will not be included in the proceedings. All accepted papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore and EI.
