The PETRA Conference brings together researchers and practitioners advancing technologies that improve accessibility and quality of life. In this spirit, the IAS workshop focuses on bridging cutting-edge research and real-world accessibility impact.
Recent advances in artificial intelligence (AI), human-computer interaction (HCI), and pervasive computing are transforming accessibility from smart assistive devices to adaptive software, multimodal interfaces, and intelligent environments. At the same time, many challenges remain in usability, deployment, affordability, and long-term adoption. This workshop invites contributions that explore how intelligent systems can meaningfully improve accessibility in practice. We especially encourage work that is: · User-centered and evaluated with real users · Interdisciplinary (e.g., HCI + AI + healthcare + education) · Practical, deployable, or in-progress · Focused on impact, inclusion, and accessibility in everyday environments IAS aims to create an interactive forum for sharing research, prototypes, case studies, and emerging ideas, and to foster collaborations across academia, industry, and community organizations.
