Call For Papers

The 7th International Conference on Natural Language Processing and Knowledge Engineering, NLPKE'11, will be held on November 27-29, 2011, in Tokushima, Japan. Prospective authors are invited to submit papers reporting original and previously unpublished work.

Papers are to be submitted electronically, as PDF or WORD files. The required format for the paper is in IEEE conference format which can be found on the IEEE website or downloaded from the conference website. Only full papers received before the deadline will be considered for review. The length of a paper is limited to 8 pages for oral (regular) papers and 4 pages for short papers and poster papers. All accepted papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings which will be published by IEEE Computer Society (indexed by EI). And 44-50 papers with high quality will be recommended to one of the following international journals:

Chinese Journal of Electronics (SCI-indexed)

China Communications (SCI-indexed)

International Journal of Advanced Intelligence

The details are as follows:

(1) The program committee will, based on evaluation, recommend a total of 4-10 excellent papers to Chinese Journal of Electronics (SCI-indexed). Before the conference, 2-5 papers will be recommended before 10 May, 2011, and published in July, 2011, with the deadline of submission being April 20, 2011. Those papers accepted by CJE must be expanded with 2/3 being different from the original and then published at the conference NLPKE'11. And the submitting authors of those papers must be present at the conference held in Japan to deliver the presentation. After the conference, another 2-5 conference papers with high quality, after being expanded with 2/3 being different from the original, will be recommended and published in January, 2012.

(2) 20 outstanding conference papers, after being expanded with 2/3 being different from the original, will be recommended and published in China Communications (SCI-indexed) in January, 2012.

(3) Still another 20 excellent conference papers, after being expanded with 2/3 being different from the original, will be recommended to International Journal of Advanced Intelligence.

Because the review process will be blind, please do not show authors' information in any way in your paper.
