On behalf of the Digital Humanities Institute (DHI), we are delighted to announce the Digital Humanities Congress 2026, taking place on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd September 2026 at the University of Sheffield.
This biennial conference brings together researchers, technologists, and heritage professionals to share innovations in the use of technology across the arts and humanities. We are currently welcoming proposals for individual papers on all aspects of digital humanities, including: New Insights: Research outcomes driven by digital methodologies. Technologies: AI, data mining, 3D visualization, GIS, and crowd-sourcing. Resources: Case studies on digital editions, mobile apps, and virtual environments. Standards: Best practices in data preservation, sustainability, and accessibility.
