*** Aim & Scope ***
The RACS 2011 will provide an excellent forum for addressing research issues of concern within

the applied computing area. The applied computing concentrates on the advanced techniques from

computer science can solve complex problems found in industry, science or other areas. It can

involve programming, software engineering, graphics, databases, wireless networks, distributed

systems, operating systems and so on.
Authors are invited to submit original papers in all areas related to the applied computing.

Topics will include, but not be limited, to the following areas:
- Agent Systems and Applications
- Bioinformatics
- Data Mining
- Database Systems
- Distributed and Parallel Systems
- Embedded Systems
- Fault Tolerance and Reliability
- Grid Computing
- Intelligent Systems
- Mobile Networking

- Security and Trusted Computing
- Sensor Networks
- Smartphone Platform and Applications

- XML and other Extensible Languages

*** Papers ***
All papers will be fully refereed and undergo a blind review process by at least three

referees. All accepted papers will be published under the ACM proceeding and will be included

in the ACM Digital Library. Selected papers will be recommended for publication in several

International Journals as a special RACS 2011 section.

*** Workshop Proposal ***
In conjunction with the RACS 2011, a number of workshops will be organized. Workshop proposals

which should include "Title of the workshop", "Purpose of the workshop", "Short bio of

organizers", "A tentative list of TPC", and "A tentative website address" are to be sent to the

program chair(jiman@ssu.ac.kr) by March 10, 2011.
