Jindal School of Banking & Finance (JSBF) at O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat, Haryana, in collaboration with Middlesex University, Dubai is proud to host its first annual International Student Conference, a platform for undergraduate and postgraduate students to showcase their research, present posters, share industry internship experiences and engage in insightful case discussions. The theme, “Navigating the Future of Finance: Sustainability, Innovation, and Global Challenges,” highlights the evolving financial landscape and its intersection with technology, policy, and sustainability. Participants are encouraged to explore topics including but not limited to Fintech Advancements, Global Economic Shifts, Risk Management, Environment-Social-Governance (ESG) Investing, Accounting, and Corporate Finance through interdisciplinary perspectives, including management, law, and environmental studies. The conference aims to foster critical discussions, inspire collaboration, and generate innovative solutions to financial challenges.
We invite students to contribute to this global dialogue and help shape the future of finance. We invite extended abstracts followed by full paper submissions in the following competition categories: 1) Research Papers, 2) Research Posters, and 3) Industry Internship Reports on the topics listed below but not limited to: • Sustainable Finance: Aligning Profit with Purpose • Innovation in Financial Markets: The Role of Technology and Digital Transformation • Fintech and the Disruption of Traditional Banking • Shareholder Vs. Stakeholder Interests • Impact of Politics on Global Finance • Navigating Geopolitics, Economic Uncertainty, and Risk Management • The Future of International Trade and Global Finance • Economic Policy and its Impact on Macroeconomy and Financial Markets • Behavioral Economics and Finance: Investor Psychology and Market Efficiency • Governance, Regulations, and Recent Advancements in Banking and Finance • Dynamics of Accounting, Governance, Laws and Ethics in Corporate • Legal Governance for Company Systems and Mergers We encourage students to submit theoretical, argumentative, and empirical papers and posters. Note that papers/posters/industry internship reports with students as first authors will only be accepted for competition if the submission is co-authored with faculty members or senior research scholars. PhD students are not eligible to apply for the conference. There is no registration fees for the conference.
