JCSSE 2011 Call for Papers
The 8th Joint Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering May 11-13, 2011 at Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand http://www.jcsse.org. The 8th Joint Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering (JCSSE 2011) will be held on May 11-13, 2011 at Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand (30 minutes from downtown Bangkok). The conference theme is Driving towards Discovery as it emphasizes on the discovery of software and computing technologies that would help people in need of basic supports for everyday living. The conference will bring together researchers, scientists, engineers, practitioners and professionals to present their novel accomplishments and innovations in computer science and software engineering as well as their applications. The conference will be conducted in English except the additional Thai tracks for local researchers. We are honored to have Prof. Anthony Finkelstein, Dean of Engineering Sciences Faculty, University College London, and Prof. Suguru Yamaguchi, Graduate School of Information Science, Nara Institute of Science and Technology, and Prof. Jun Murai, Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, Keio University as our keynote lecturers in the topics of Software Engineering and Internet technologies. Location: Nakhon Pathom is renowned for its landmark Pra Pathom Chedi which signified the influx of Buddhism into Thailand. Only 30 minutes from downtown Bangkok, Salaya district in Nakhon Pathom offers natural beauty, landscaped gardens and lush tropical scenery. Nakhon Pathom is also known for abundant of tropical fruits and traditional Thai history. Topics to be addressed, but are not limited to: - Computational Science and Engineering - Multimedia and Computer Graphics - Computational Intelligence - Computer Systems - Computer Networks - Communications - Cluster and Grid Computing - Knowledge and Data Management - Information Technology - Software Engineering - Information Retrieval - Software Application Development. Paper Submission: Authors are invited to submit a 400-word (1 page) abstract summarizing an original work finalized or in progress, and then a full paper (6 pages) describing the original work to JCSSE 2011 website (http://www.jcsse.org). All the manuscripts must be written in English and should be prepared in given style by JCSSE bureau. All submitted papers will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee. After you win the acceptance notification, you have to prepare the final camera-ready manuscript of maximum six (6) IEEE double-column formatted pages, the Copyright Transfer Agreement, and the Speaker's Biography together.
