Conference Topics: We encourage submissions within the broad field of Energy Law. Topics to be discussed might include but are not limited to:
The history and future of energy disputes International and domestic energy law and regulation Global energy transition challenges International energy investment arbitration Boundary disputes concerning oil & gas and minerals Global and regional developments in energy markets Joint venture disputes Sanctions and the energy sector Energy sector construction disputes New Technologies and potential challenges Critical minerals and the just energy transition European Union wholesale energy market disputes Important Dates: 14 April: Deadline for Abstract Submission 28 April: Notification of Acceptance 16 June: Announcement of the Conference Programme 2 July: Deadline for full paper 11-12 July 2025: Conference Guide for Authors: Abstracts should be between 250 and 300 words and must include the author’s name, contact details, and institutional affiliation. Full papers should be in the range of 6,000 to 8,000 words. All submissions will be assessed based on originality of the work, relevance to the conference theme, and diversity criteria. There will be a publication opportunity for selected full paper submissions in a peer reviewed journal special issue or in an edited volume.
