CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS
ACM Hypertext Conference 2025 Workshops should create an informal framework for an innovative exchange of views, experiences, new ways to present ideas, promote the research community, and identify open problems and/or directions for future research. At the same time, they also provide a good opportunity for researchers and junior researchers to present their work and receive feedback from an interested community in an interactive and constructive atmosphere. Proposals are particularly appreciated on new topics related to the main topics of the conference, but may also include other (new) topics that may be of interest to the Hypertext community. There are no limits to creativity in workshop design at ACM Hypertext. Acceptance of workshop proposals will be based on the experience and background of the organisers in the topic, and on the relevance of the subject matter about the topics addressed in the main conference. Potential proposers are invited to discuss their ideas with the workshop chair before working out a detailed proposal. Please send us the following information: Title of the workshop and suggested acronym Keywords (describing the main themes) Abstract Description of the workshop (topics and goals) Relevance of the workshop to the Hypertext communities Workshop organisers’ bios (1–2 paragraphs per organiser) Motivation (why the topic is of interest to the conference audience) Workshop and submission formats Length (one or two half-days) and a justification if two sessions are required Previous editions of the workshop series, if applicable (URLs, conference it was co-located with, number of registrants, number of submissions, number of accepted papers, and any other relevant information) Any plan for further publication (e.g., special issue in a journal) The initial list of (potential) members of the program committee Accepted workshop papers will be included in the CEUR-WS attached proceedings to the HT’25 conference, unless otherwise requested. Proposals for workshops will be fast-tracked for evaluation as they arrive, thus we welcome early submissions or discussions with our workshop chairs. Submissions should be e-mailed to the track chairs (jamie@cs.dal.ca & alessio.antonini@open.ac.uk) and include the information specified above. Workshop proposals will be due on Feb 28, 2025.
