Call For Papers

The call for speakers has now opened! Don’t miss your opportunity to speak to 500+ major industry players, from technologists and entrepreneurs to academics and investors. We want to hear your stories of resilience, innovation and challenge, welcoming applications from organisations of any size or age. If you’re a thought leader with a compelling story, apply now!

The CW International Conference 2025 will delve into the theme of Resilience with a strong focus on the technological aspects. Speaking slots are about 8-10 minutes long and come with the potential to join a panel discussion. See below for further information on the individual topics.

CWIC 2025 will explore the following areas:

• Building Resilience: How can we design systems to prevent failures and recover effectively when they occur?
• Learning Across Sectors: What can we learn from industries like energy, transportation, and telecommunications about technological resilience?
• Cybersecurity: Addressing advanced persistent threats, cyber risks, and the technological measures needed to safeguard against them.
• Digital Twins and Infrastructure Resilience: Exploring how virtual replicas of physical systems can enhance the resilience of critical industries.
• Policy and Regulation: The role of evolving tech policy and regulatory frameworks in shaping future resilience strategies.
• The Current Threat Landscape – what are the global threats and how does the international community work together to respond to them?

• Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT): Tackling challenges like GPS spoofing and how secure PNT systems are critical for technological infrastructure.
* Emerging Technologies: How can emerging technologies like quantum, artificial intelligence and blockchain contribute to the resilience and security of today’s societies and organisations?

The deadline for applications is 17:00 on Tuesday 19 November 2024.
The committee will review all submissions, and you will be informed of the outcome by 9 December 2024.
