As AI technology advances rapidly and implementations grow, so too has the commoditization of AI, reaching a stage where we need to focus on considering higher-level concepts of use. AI is no longer limited to image recognition, generation, or text generation, but is expanding its applications to software systems, IT platforms, and even the political arena. AI, as a functional technology, can be used for both beneficial and harmful purposes, and its impact is highly determined by how it is used.
The evolution of AI is beyond the scope of engineers alone and calls for insights from social scientists, philosophers, legal experts, and other thinkers. To address this transformational period, it is urgent to devise strategies for responsible management of AI. The goal is to prevent the negative effects (side effects and negative impacts) of AI while building a sustainable future. ICAITD 2025 aims to be a platform that brings such forward-thinking ideas and strategies to the table and promotes discussions on social, managerial, political, ethical, philosophical and personal approaches to AI.
