The Signal Processing Symposium SPS-2011 will be held on 8-10 June 2011 at GUS Holiday Camp in Jachranka Village (near Warsaw), Poland. The main goal of that symposium is to create forum for students and scientists to present their latest research results, new trends in science and technology and exchange ideas during technical and evening sessions.
The symposium is a part of the 26th IEEE-SPIE Symposium Photonics, Electronics and Web Engineering. The conference is organized by Institute of Electronic Systems, Warsaw University of Technology together with Przemysłowy Instytut Telekomunikacji S.A. (PIT), Military University of Technology, RADWAR S.A, Space Research Center of Polish Academy of Sciences, Foundation for Development of Radiocommunication and Multimedia Technologies, IEEE Signal Processing Society Poland Chapter and IEEE AES Poland Chapter In 2003, 12th IEEE-SPIE Symposium on Advanced Electronics was organized and for the first time I have chaired the Digital Signal Processing and Radar Signal Processing Session. In 2005, 2007 and 2009 my students from The Radiolocation and Digital Signal Processing Students' Research Group and me have decided to organize consecutive the second, third and fourth edition of Signal Processing Symposium, which was part IEEE-SPIE Symposium on Photonics, Electronics and Web Engineering. SPS-2005, SPS 2007 and SPS 2009 gathered more than 100 participants. It has been assessed as very successful events. That fact has led my students and me to organize for the fifth time Signal Processing Symposium SPS-2011.
