https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=dsai2024 The DSAI 2024 conference aims to contribute to the growth of data science and artificial intelligence knowledge in developing countries. It provides a platform for researchers and practitioners from developed and developing countries to share their knowledge and expertise on data science and artificial intelligence and discuss the latest developments in the field, so to build capacity and improve the understanding of data science and AI. The DSAI 2024 conference brings together researchers from different countries providing an opportunity to foster the development of partnerships and collaboration. By raising awareness and interest directly in the local community, the DSAI 2024 conference aims to stimulate and help the development of data science and artificial intelligence research and application in these countries. Areas of interest include (but are not limited to): Affective computing Applications of DS & AI Bayesian networks Constraint satisfaction Data mining and knowledge discovery DS & AI in education systems Evolutionary computation Explainable, trustable, and moral AI Foundation of DS & AI Image analysis Information retrieval and extraction Intelligent agents Knowledge acquisition and ontology Knowledge representation Machine learning Markov networks Natural language processing Neural networks and deep learning Planning and scheduling Probabilistic inference Reasoning and argumentation Semantic web Uncertainty Vision and perception Important Dates Abstract submission deadline: 7 June 2024 (AoE) Paper submission deadline: 14 June 2024 (AoE) Notification: 26 August 2024 Camera-ready: 6 September 2024 (AoE) Submission Guidelines Submissions must adhere to the LNCS/CCIS one-column page format. Papers should not exceed 13 pages (excluding a bibliography of a maximum of 2 pages). Submissions must not have been published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions will be judged based on originality, contribution to the field, technical and presentation quality, and relevance to the conference. Each paper submission will be reviewed by at least three members of the Program Committee, who will also evaluate and select the best paper award winner. All contributions to DSAI 2024 have to be submitted electronically in PDF format via Easy Chair. Authors should consult Springer’s Instructions for Authors of Proceedings and use either the LaTeX or the Word templates provided on the author’s page for the preparation of their papers. Authors are encouraged to include their ORCIDs in their papers. One author of each accepted paper must attend the conference to present it, having paid the regular registration fee. |
