===Presentation===
The fifth generation of mobile communication systems (5G) is currently being deployed and evolving globally, significantly impacting our society. This is the opportune moment for research related to the next generation of mobile networks, 6G. In the era of virtualization, programmability, and artificial intelligence, new applications such as connected robots, fully autonomous vehicles, industrial internet, holographic verticals, and society, among others, pose requirements that translate into necessary challenges to be addressed and research opportunities. In this regard, for 6G, an enhancement of the network's capabilities is expected to meet strict and heterogeneous requirements for applications. It will increasingly be assisted and managed by Artificial Intelligence (AI) at various levels of the structural block of the 6G architecture, bringing about profound paradigm shifts such as global coverage, green networks, and significant improvements in security and privacy. Particularly in scenarios of dynamic topology given the integration of connectivity environments aimed at providing connection anytime and anywhere.

The IV 6G Workshop (W6G) encourages high-quality papers containing theoretical, practical, experimental approaches, or advancements in the state of the art addressing application scenarios or technological enablers and developments that will potentially impact the structural block of the sixth-generation mobile networks (6G). The topics of interest aim to integrate research initiatives from industry and academia seeking artifacts for discussing challenges and opportunities.

===Topics of Interest===
The topics of interest encompass a wide range of subjects. The following list describes some examples, which are not exhaustive:
• Applications and Networks involving Cloud, Fog, and Edge Computing
• Network Virtualization and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV)
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications for 6G

===Author Information===
Paper submissions will be exclusively electronic via the JEMS system. Articles can be written in Portuguese or English, exclusively in PDF format. The text should contain up to eight (8) pages, including an abstract (and an abstract for articles in Portuguese), figures, diagrams, references, and annexes. Formatting should follow the SBC standard.
Papers submitted to W6G will be evaluated by the Workshop's program committee, and the best ones will be selected for presentation and publication in the event's proceedings, available on the SBC's SOL platform. There will be an award for the best W6G paper. At least one of the authors of each selected article must register for SBRC2024 and W6G, as well as present it at the event.
JEMS3 Submission: jems3.sbc.org.br/w6g2024
The Workshop proceedings will be published on the SBC OpenLib Platform (SOL), the digital library maintained by the Brazilian Computing Society (SBC), and will be freely available to the entire society.
