ICIST2011 is a forum for researchers, developers and industrials in the information systems field. It reports progress and development of methodologies, technologies, planning and implementation, tools and standards in information systems. The conference looks also at socio-economical aspects, impacts and success factors of information systems.
ICIST2011 aims at addressing issues related to the design, development and use of information systems in organizations from a multidisciplinary perspective, and to discuss, the research, teaching and professional practice in the field. ICIST2011 ICIST2011 brings together leading academics and professionals in information systems from around the world. It aims at providing a platform for discussions on issues that take into consideration the social and technological aspects of information systems. The conference program includes paper presentation, keynote talks from prominent academics, posters and workshops. Important dates Papers submission deadline : 05 Janvier 2011 Acceptance notification : 15 Février 2011 Camera ready version : 15 Mars 2011 Conference : Tébessa, Algérie, du 24 au 26 Avril 2011 Receipt of workshops and keynotes proposals deadline: 15 Décembre 2010 Topics ICIST2011 covers all aspects (analytical, technical, economic, operational) for Methods and Tools Engineering IS. Its main objective is to confront different disciplines involved in the implementation of IS innovative, especially in areas where in recent years has demonstrated an effort to scientific analysis and / or expectations or theoretical synthesis of practical specialized and quite large. Authors are encouraged to submit papers describing original work ICIST'11, suggest topics for panel discussions or tutorials in the areas of current information systems. Contributions may cover theoretical results or to report experiences and operational practices. The list of topics is not exhaustive, is given below for guidance: Methodology, Process and Information Systems Engineering e-Applications: eGovernment, eCommerce, eHealth, eLearning, eLibrary… Metadata, Ontology and the Semantic Web Ubiquitous, Embeddeds and Real-Time Systems Model Driven Engineering, aspects and components approaches Web Services, Workflow and IS Interoperability Network, Distributed IS and Multi-agents Systems IS Quality, Management and Standards Business Intelligence, Territorial and Decision Making Systems Knowledge Management and Data mining Ethical, Social, Privacy and Security in information systems Natural Language Processing, Signal, Image and Multimedia IS Spatio-Temporal Modeling and GIS Development Instructions to Authors Authors are invited to submit their articles (in .doc format) in English or French by e-mail to: icist2011@gmail.com and via the website EasyChair of the conference : ICIST'2011 on EasyChair Paper Length : maximum 10 pages in IEEE 2-coloumns format. For style files for paper submission see : IEEE Computer Society Guidelines). Publication The conference proceedings will be published in an ISBN referenced book and journal. Conferences are likely to be broadcasted and archived. Following the conference, and after a careful selection by the Scientific Committee, some authors will be invited to submit revised and extended version of their article for publication in an international scientific journal (to be confirmed). |
