Global Information Technology Management Association (GITMA) 2023 conference is now an AIS-affiliated conference! GITMA 2022 will be held on September 20th 2023 in Boston, Massachusetts US.
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. All Information Systems stakeholders (academia, industry, think tanks, and accelerators) are encouraged to submit their work in any category they see fit. Submissions may be one of four types: Full Paper, Short Paper, Global Information Systems & Technology (GIST) Talks, or Industry Brief. All full paper and short paper submissions will be peer-reviewed. Full paper submissions will be considered for awards or grants.GIST Talks is a platform for work-in-process research ideas, education innovations, exciting tools & data, or opinions related to any area of information systems. Industry Brief is an outlet for the industry to share their innovative ideas, practices, and outcomes with the Information Systems community at large GITMA 2023 invites papers in the next topics: • Internet of Things (IoT): innovative IoT technologies and applications, data management, security, privacy, and ethics. • Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI: machine learning and deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, generative models. • Quantum Edge: quantum computing, quantum cryptography, quantum communication. • Nearshoring: nearshoring strategies and models, challenges and mitigation strategies, future trends and emerging technologies Authors are encouraged to submit high-quality papers that present original research, new insights, and significant contributions to the field. All submissions will be subject to a rigorous peer-review process, and accepted papers will be presented at the conference GITMA 2023 will also feature keynote presentations from prominent academics and industry leaders. Please indicate the type of submission at the top. Do not include any author information in the submission itself. All accepted submissions will require that at least one of the author register/attend the conference and present their research work. The exact type of presentation and duration will depend on the type of submission and details will be communicated to the authors. Typically, presentations will run about 15 minutes for each accepted paper. Submission Deadline: July 31th, 2023. Full Paper: 20-25 pages. Double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12 font, 1” margins on all sides. Use MISQ format for citations and references. All figures and tables need to be inside the main text. In addition, proposals for panels and workshops may be submitted to the "Panels and Workshops" track. It should describe the nature of the panel/workshop and include the names of the participants. |
