The 4th IEEE International NanoElectronics Conference (INEC) will be held at Chang Gung University in Tao-Yuan, Taiwan from June 21st to 24th, 2011. The conference is sponsored by the IEEE Electron Devices Society, the Ministry of Education, the National Science Council, Electronics Devices and Materials Association (EDMA), and National Nano Device Lab. (NDL), Taiwan, R.O.C.. Chang Gung University currently consists of the College of Medicine, College of Engineering, and College of Management. In taking advantage of Formosa Plastics Group's abundant manufacturing and medical service resources, Chang Gung University aims to be a first-rate internationally renowned university that prepares high standard professional talents in the fields of medical science, high technology, and knowledge management. The conference venue is located at Taoyuan city which received international attention because of the Shihmen Reservoir, the largest reservoir in the Far East, and many visitors visit the reservoir. Over 20 million travelers arrive and depart from Taoyuan International Airport every year, making Taoyuan County the gateway to Taiwan. The multiple cultures of the different ethnic groups in the county, beautiful natural landscape, and its reputation as the kingdom of flowers and plants qualify Taoyuan as a 100% scenic spot. Welcome to participate INEC2011 in Taoyuan, Taiwan.
In past few years extensive research on nanomaterials has shown a lot of interests and promises for novel applications in electronics, photonics, and biology in near future. To realize the particular applications in our daily life, it is necessary to search the connections between nanomaterials and nanodevices. This effort will require a multi-disciplinary approach combining research in suitable materials investigation, processing, modeling, characterization, devices, and system for proper application. Commercialization of nanotechnology is also effective way to encourage future research. The aim of this conference is to identify the paths between fundamental research and potential electronic, photonic, and biological applications. The INEC2011 will provide a unique forum for international academics, industries, researchers and students working in the areas of nanofabrication, nanoelectronics, nanophotonics, nanomedicine, and nanophysics to discuss the new developments, concepts and practices, and to identify future research needs so that nano-researcher can be brought closer to its immense potential for mankind. The INEC2011 will feature plenary and invited talks by well recognized scientists in nanofabrication, nanoelectronics, nanophotonics, nanomedicine, and nanophysics. The papers of all paid/registered papers will be included in the IEEE Xplore database and Engineering Index (EI). The full contributed papers will be peer reviewed and published in a special issue. We invite contributions describing the latest scientific and technological research results in subjects including, but not restricted to: (1) Nano-Fabrication (2) Nano-Electronics (3) Nano-Photonics (4) Nano-Medicine (5) Nano-Physics FIRST CALL FOR PAPERS Authors are invited to submit their paper(s) electronically via the conference website (www.inec2011.org.tw) by December 31, 2010. All papers should be in a two-page format including figures and tables. The paper must be written in English which is the official language of the conference and in the form of PDF file. Please use the template which is available from the website. Upon acceptance, authors will be required to register and present their papers. Papers will be published in the conference proceedings only if at least one of the authors is officially registered. SELECTED papers will also be peer reviewed and published in a special issue of Nanoscale Research Letters and International Journal of Nanotechnology. Important Dates: Paper Submission Deadline: December 31, 2010 Author Notification: February 28, 2011 Early Registration: March 15, 2011 |
