Call For Papers: SIBGRAPI 2023 GRSL Track

The SIBGRAPI 2023 Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters (GRSL) Track is open for paper submission to a special stream of the IEEE GRSL journal. This special track is oriented to bring together researchers from pattern recognition, computer vision, image processing, and remote sensing fields to present advances in pattern and image analysis to interpret remotely sensed images and their applications. Specific topics of interest are (but are not limited to): image processing, low-level feature extraction, classification, segmentation, object detection, deep learning, multimodal and multi-view methods, multisensor fusion, 3D reconstruction from aerial images, dataset creation, and evaluation methodologies and methods. All papers accepted in this track are scheduled and must be presented at the conference.

IEEE GRSL is a high-level journal, impact factor 5.343, and one of the main vehicles of the remote sensing community where studies involving the application of artificial intelligence and computer vision have been published.

SIBGRAPI 2023 will be held from November 6th to 9th in the city of Rio Grande, RS, Brazil. The event will be organised by the Center for Computational Science - C3 at the Federal University of Rio Grande - FURG, associated with the Graduate Program in Computing (PPGComp) and also the Graduate Program in Computational Modelling (PPGMC). Furthermore, the event is also organised by the iTec/FURG - Robotics and Data Science Center and the NAUTEC - Intelligent Robotics and Automation Group.
