=================== CALL FOR PAPERS ====================== Artificial Intelligence supported Medical data examination (AIM'2023) in conjunction with The 23rd International Conference on Computational Science and Its Applications (ICCSA 2023) 3-6 July 2023 National Technical University of Athens and University of the Aegean (Athens) Greece https://iccsa.org/ Deadline: 28-Apr-2023 (EXTENDED DEADLINE) **** LNCS Proceedings **** Important Notes: ---------------- The ICCSA 2023 conference will be organized on Lesvos Island, Greece. Virtual presentation (with a REDUCED registration fee) is still possible. Beside online sessions, there will be pure on-site sessions, and face-to-face presentations. All accepted papers will be published in the LNCS proceedings (Springer). Description: ------------ In humankind, the disease occurrence rate is gradually rising due to various uncontrollable reasons, and the appropriate diagnosis and treatment are necessary to cure the disease in its early phase. The World Health Organisation (WHO) statement about the population-doctor ratio (recommended 1:1000) confirms that the diagnostic burden of the doctor will increase when an infectious disease affects a large population. In order to reduce the diagnostic burden, computerised screening procedures are needed to detect the disease and its severity. Artificial Intelligent (AI) plays a vital role in disease diagnosis and treatment planning. This workshop aims to discuss the advancements in AI for medicine. Topics: ------- - AI for medicine; - Medical imaging; - Image segmentation for medical image analysis; - Deep learning and machine learning for medical research; - Federated learning for smart healthcare; - Digital health, Medical informatics and Health informatics; - Explainable AI in medicine; - IoT remote patient monitoring; - Disease modelling and treatment planning with AI; - AI-based electronic health record; - Data engineering, data warehousing and dashboard for hospitals; - AI-based disease progression analysis; Important Dates --------------- 28 Apr 2023: Paper submission deadline (EXTENDED DEADLINE) 1 May 2023: Notification of Acceptance 7 May 2023: Registration for accepted papers 3-6 Jul 2023: ICCSA'2023 Conference Paper Submission: ---------------- To submit a paper, please connect to the Submission site from the link available at the ICCSA 2023 website: https://ess.iccsa.org/ All papers must be formatted using the LNCS format. Please consult the URL https://iccsa.org/instructions-for-authors for formatting information and templates. When submitting your paper, make sure that you SELECT the CORRECT WORKSHOP from the dropdown box (eg. AIM'2023). All accepted papers will be included in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series which is indexed by Scopus, EI Engineering Index, Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (included in ISI Web of Science), and several other indexing services.
