6th International Symposium on Mobile Internet Security (MobiSec 2022) Jeju Island, South Korea, December 15~17, 2022 https://isyou.info/conf/mobisec22/ ************************************************************************** Special Session on Special Session on 5G and Beyond Security ************************************************************************** IMPORTANT DATES --------------- - Paper submission deadline: September 16, 2022 - Acceptance Notification: October 31, 2022 - Final version deadline: November 13, 2022 OVERVIEW -------- In recent decades, we have observed tremendous development and utilization of wireless telecommunication systems. Now, when 5G networks become the primary wireless communication service in the world, scientists and engineers work on its successors, 6G and beyond systems. As history shows, new technology inherits some of the older vulnerabilities as well as introduces completely new ones. We could not ensure secure communication networks without early discovery of such threats and development of mitigation or protection mechanisms. Moreover, evaluation of well know and utterly revolutionary protection systems could indicate solutions that increase users’ security. However, all these works could not be as effective as possible without exchanging the latest ideas, describing the proof-of-concept protection systems, and all other useful ideas. The special session aims to stimulate an exchange of ideas on the topic of 5G and Beyond (5GB) Security; it offers scientists and engineers that are active in the area to discuss the state of the art, to identify open and emerging problems, to share research experiences, and to propose future research directions. TOPICS -------- Submissions should focus on implementations of AI in IDS, for networked and mobile systems, contributing in the following areas: - 5GB Security Architecture and Technologies - Security of 5GB MEC Infrastructure - Artificial Intelligence for 5GB security - Trusted Computing with NFV and SDN - Security Frameworks for Various Applications & Scenarios in 5GB - 5G private networks security, privacy, and trust - Intrusion Detection and Content Access Control for 5GB PAPER SUBMISSION ---------------- Authors are invited to submit original papers: they must not substantially duplicate work that any of the authors have published elsewhere or have submitted in parallel to any other conferences that have proceedings. An accepted paper must be registered before the registration deadline and presented at the symposium. Failure to register before the deadline will result in automatic withdrawal of the paper from the symposium proceedings and the program. - Please add the cover letter indicating this paper belongs to a special session - The submission file is in PDF or PS file format produced via the Easychair Latex Class file (US letter size) [Available at http://jowua.yolasite.com/resources/easychair.zip] - Each paper should be at least 5 pages long based on the Easychair style. - Submission of a paper implies that should the paper be accepted, at least one of the authors will register and present the paper at the symposium. The submission of contributions to MobiSec 2022 must occur through the symposium submission system: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=mobisec22 PROCEEDINGS ----------- Proceedings of MobiSec 2022 will be available to the attendees. - During MobiSec 2022, all the papers will be available in the preliminary online-proceedings (non-official publication). - According to our tradition, a short list of presented papers at MobiSec 2022 will be first selected and published in the Springer Communications in Computer and Information Science series book (CCIS, indexed by Scopus) after revision and expansion (pending). The rest of papers will be also invited for publication of extended and revised versions in SCIE or Scopus journals (confirmed). SPECIAL SESSION CHAIRS ------- Wojciech Mazurczyk, Warsaw University of Technology, Poland (wojciech.mazurczyk@pw.edu.pl) Edgardo Montes de Oca, Montimage, France (edgardo.montesdeoca@montimage.com) Krzysztof Cabaj, Warsaw University of Technology, Poland (krzysztof.cabaj@pw.edu.pl) |
