The 8th International Conference on Industrial Artificial Intelligence (IAI 2026) will be held Thursday through Sunday, August 19-22, 2026 at Liaoning Friendship Hotel in Shenyang, China. IAI 2026 aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from all over the world to facilitate discussions of recent developments in the artificial intelligence driven modeling, control, and optimization of industrial processes. The conference will feature a rich program, including plenary lectures, contributed and invited sessions, workshops, oral presentation sessions and poster sessions.
Topics within the scope of the conference (but not limited to): 1) Industrial process intelligent sensing and modeling: First principles modeling, data-based modeling, digital twin and metaverse for industrial processes. 2) Computational intelligence: Data mining and big data analytics, machine learning approaches such as neural networks, fuzzy logic, and evolutionary computation. 3) AI-driven cooperative autonomous control: New intelligent theories and methods, such as multi-agent system analysis and cooperative control, data-driven control for autonomous systems, and multi-agent reinforcement learning. 4) AI-driven industrial process operational optimal decision-making: Intelligent decision system architecture and methods, such as non-convex optimization, dynamic intelligent optimization and multi-objective optimization. 5) AI-driven abnormal situation monitoring and prediction: Big data based remote visual monitoring, prognostics and health management, and virtual manufacturing. The 8th International Forum on Frontiers of Automation and Artificial Intelligence (FAAI 2026), which is the workshop of the IAI 2026, will be held on August 19-20, 2026. The organizing committee will invite more than 60 well-known experts and researchers in the field of automation and artificial intelligence from all over the world to share frontier technology, breakthroughs, innovative solutions and recent results. The authors can choose to submit either regular paper or long abstract. The submissions can be written in English or Chinese, and the accepted regular papers in English will be sent to IEEE for inclusion in IEEE Xplore and indexed by EI. For more information on how to submit, please visit the conference homepage. |
