The Journal of King Saud University, Computer and Information Sciences branch (KSU_CIS) is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles in all areas of computing science and technology. The journal focuses on high-quality, internationally reviewed papers, that advance the state-of-art and applications in various computing disciplines, particularly including emerging technologies, performance analysis studies, new techniques and algorithms, as well as reports on experiments and case studies. Shorter communications discussing new developments or insights are also welcome.

KSU-CIS journal is published twice a year, offering typically four months window for final decision about publishing for well prepared regular papers that are accepted after one round of review. Each additional review round will extend the window for approximately one month.


The Journal of King Saud University (Computer and Information Sciences Division) is a referred journal specialized in computing disciplines, which publishes regularly refereed research papers, short articles and reviews.

The editors of the journal will be pleased to consider new and significant papers from academic, research, and industrial sources in subjects covered by the journal. Original papers, not considered for publication elsewhere, which contribute to the advancement of computing disciplines are welcome. All submissions undergo a rapid but thorough reviewing process to ensure timely and original publications.
