The Canadian Conference on Computational Geometry (CCCG) is a forum to disseminate and discuss new theoretical and applied results in discrete and computational geometry. CCCG focuses on the design of efficient algorithms, the development of software, and the study of the mathematical foundations of computational problems whose formulations involve geometric constraints.
The field of computational geometry is motivated by problems from a broad range of application areas, as diverse as computer graphics and animation, computer vision, computer-aided design and manufacturing, geographic information systems, pattern recognition, wireless communications, robotics, protein folding, urban planning, graph drawing, or statistical analysis. Authors are invited to submit papers describing original research of theoretical or practical significance in computational, combinatorial and discrete geometry, as well as related areas. Submissions will be refereed by the Program Committee. Submissions should not exceed six pages, excluding references and appendices. Documents must be prepared using LaTeX; the appropriate template is available from the link below. Authors who feel that additional details are necessary should include a clearly marked appendix, which will be read at the discretion of the Program Committee. Only electronic submissions via EasyChair will be accepted. Simultaneous submission to another conference or journal is not allowed. Accepted papers are expected to be presented at the conference. Failure to do so will result in removal of the paper from the proceedings. Proceedings will be published online. There will be no paper proceedings. Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit extended versions to a special issue of the open-access journal Computing in Geometry and Topology (https://www.cgt-journal.org/index.php/cgt) Any submission that is authored only by students is eligible for the best young researcher award (paper & presentation). *Important Dates* Submissions Due: May 1, 2022 (23:59 Anywhere on Earth) Paper Notification: June 14, 2022 (23:59 Anywhere on Earth) Camera Ready: July 1, 2022 (23:59 Anywhere on Earth) Conference: August 25-27, 2022 *Keynote Speakers* Bernard Chazelle, Princeton University (Paul Erdős Memorial Lecture) Subhash Suri, University of California, Santa Barbara (Godfried Toussaint Memorial Lecture) Jorge Urrutia, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (Ferran Hurtado Memorial Lecture) ---IMPORTANT LINKS--- *CCCG 2022 LATEX Template* https://www.ryerson.ca/content/dam/canadian-conference-computational-geometry-2022/CCCG2022-tex-template.zip *Submission Link* https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cccg2022 *CCCG 2022 website* https://www.ryerson.ca/cccg2022/ ---COMMITTEES--- *Program Committee* Hugo Akitaya, University of Massachusetts Lowell Yeganeh Bahoo (co-chair), Ryerson University Prosenjit Bose, Carleton University Giordano Da Lozzo, Roma Tre University David Eppstein, University of California Irvine William Evans, University of British Columbia Konstantinos Georgiou (co-chair), Ryerson University Shahin Kamali, University of Manitoba Akitoshi Kawamura, University of Tokyo Anil Maheshwari, Carleton University Debajyoti Mondal, University of Saskatchewan Pat Morin, Carleton University Lucia Moura, University of Ottawa Ian Munro, University of Waterloo Wolfgang Mulzer, Freie Universität Berlin Joseph O’Rourke, Smith College Denis Pankratov, Concordia University Maria Saumell, Czech Academy of Sciences & Czech Technical University in Prague Thomas Shermer, Simon Fraser University Shakhar Smorodinsky, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev Bettina Speckmann, Eindhoven University of Technology Csaba D.
