Call For Papers

The 8th Information Security Practice and Experience Conference

Call for Papers

ISPEC is an annual conference that brings together researchers and practitioners to provide a confluence of new information security technologies, their applications and their integration with IT systems in various vertical sectors. The previous ISPEC conference series were successfully held in Singapore, Hangzhou, Hongkong, Sydney, Xi’an, Seoul and Guangzhou. This 8th conference ISPEC 2012 will be held in the beautiful city Hangzhou, China, April 9-12, 2012 (tentative). Again, the conference proceedings of ISPEC 2012 have been confirmed to be published as a volume of the LNCS series of Springer.

Topics

Authors are invited to submit full papers presenting new research results related to information security technologies and applications. All submissions must describe original research that is not published or currently under review by another conference or journal. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

Applied cryptography
Access control
Digital rights management
Economic incentives for deployment of information
security systems
Information security in vertical applications
Network security
Privacy and anonymity
Risk evaluation and security certification
Resilience and availability
Secure system architectures
Security policy
Security protocols
Trust model and management
Usability aspects of information security systems

All submissions will be blind reviewed. Your submission should have no identifying information (no author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or obvious references). The final proceedings version will be a paper of at most 15 pages in the lncs style. The document submitted should correspond to what the authors expect to be published if their paper is accepted without modification. We therefore strongly recommend that authors check whether their paper will fit within the above lncs space constraints.
