In conjunction with the 16th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON PARALLEL PROCESSING
AND APPLIED MATHEMATICS - PPAM 2026 Introduction: ============= Collective aspects of complex systems attract researchers from many disciplines, covering theoretical foundations and real-world applications. Local interactions and simple rules enable effective modeling of complex collective behavior. This workshop has been a forum for exchanging knowledge in the field of Complex Collective Systems for several years - this is the 9th edition since 2009. Accepted papers will be published in the PPAM Conference Proceedings by Springer-Verlag (LNCS series). Papers must not exceed 15 pages (LNCS format). Submissions are handled via the PPAM website (https://ppam.edu.pl) under the Workshop on Complex Collective Systems track. Topics ======= * Models of complex systems * Agent-based modeling * Cellular automata for real phenomena * Pedestrian and traffic dynamics * AI agents and complex systems * Granular flow modeling * Cooperative problem solving * Models of complex systems * Community structure and mesoscopic organization in complex networks * Diffusion, contagion, and cascading processes on complex networks * Opinion formation and collective dynamics on networks * Emergent phenomena in dynamical processes on networks * Data-driven and machine learning methods for complex networks Important Dates ================ Paper submission deadline: April 30, 2026 Notification of acceptance: May 31, 2026 Conference: August 30 - September 2, 2026 Camera-ready version: November, 2, 2026 Program Committee (Names in alphabetical order) =============================================== Stefania Bandini, University of Milano - Bicocca, Aleksander Byrski, AGH University of Krakow, Jedrzej Byrski, AGH University of Krakow, Mohcine Chraibi, Juelich Supercomputing Centre Ekaterina Kirik, Institute of Computational Modelling SB RAS Katarzyna Grobler - Debska, AGH University of Krakow Tomasz Gwizdalla, University of Lodz Tomasz Hachaj, AGH University of Krakow Pavel Hrabak, CTU Prague Jaroslaw Jankowski, West Pomeranien University - Szczecin Gerta Koester, Munich University of Applied Sciences Edyta Kucharska, AGH University of Krakow Krzysztof Kulakowski, AGH University of Krakow Krzysztof Malarz, AGH University of Krakow Krzysztof Malecki, West Pomeranien University - Szczecin Michal Pikus, AGH University of Krakow Hiroki Sayama, Binghamton University, State University of New York, USA Andreas Schadschneider, University of Cologne Georgios Sirakoulis, Democritus University of Thrace William Spataro, University of Calabria Pawel Topa, AGH University of Krakow Giuseppe A.
